President - Elizabeth Soto

 
 
Hi there!  My name is Elizabeth and this will be my 7th year as a proud Calusa parent.  My daughter Annabella is in 5th grade and my son Zachary is in 2nd grade.  
 
I married my college sweetheart and we have been together almost 25 years. I work full time, love to volunteer to help Calusa and am currently working on a project having to do with education (so excited about that!)
 
I've been known to bring confetti to places, so if you hear a loud bang when you meet me, don't be alarmed, its probably just a confetti!  
 
I am very excited to serve another term as PTA President for the 2022-2023 school year.  This year, our goal is to continue to foster the strong sense of community Calusa is known for.  We will also continue to support our administrators, teachers and especially our students with tools to help educationally, have lots of FUN along the way and do it all with love!   I am absolutely confident that with the group of extraordinary women on our board and with our wonderful volunteers, we will help make this the BEST year yet at Calusa!

Hi everyone I’m Marisol, now at Calusa for 5 years. I am the proud mom of 3 boys-Daniel (9) in 4th grade, Andre (7) in 3rd grade and Adrian (6) in 1st grade.
 
We absolutely ️love️ Calusa and the amazing teachers, staff and parents that have made it feel like family. Aside from being a crazy baseball mom, momager to my 3 boys and being a full time attorney, and run a medical records business...I also enjoy cricutting and crafting. I look forward to working another year alongside these amazing ladies.
 
 
  
 

Treasurer - Courtney Jones

   
 
Hi friends! I’m Courtney Jones, wedding photographer for the last 12 years and now semi-retired and focusing on being a freelance photo editor for other wedding photographers full time, which is AWESOME because I work for myself, from home, and have flexibility to be at Calusa any time. And I get there easily as I live right next door, literally lol. 
 
I am originally from Louisville KY but moved to Miami over 8 years ago. My husband is Miami born and raised (we met on a cruise ship lol - that’s a fun story). We have 2 daughters, Evan who is in third grade and Elliott who is in Kinder. 
 
I served on the PTA board during the 2018/2019 school year as a Secretary and took over as Treasurer last school year. I’m looking forward to another great year!  Fun fact, my husband went to Calusa and Evan has already had three of his previous teachers. 
 
Can’t wait for another great school year!  
 
 
 

RECORDING SECRETARY - Nathalie Campo

 
 
Hello Calusa family! I’m Nathalie Campo aka Andres’ (7) mom! This will be our 4th year in Calusa and my second serving alongside the incredible PTA board, generous community of volunteers and incredible staff. I work full-time in sales and marketing for a global company and after work, you’ll catch me at Andres’ baseball games, BMX practice (something new!) and even Calusa. I love traveling, eating more than cooking, baking, learning to use my cricut and making memories . So … please join us in making more memories this school year as we take the confetti to an all-time high!
 
 

Corresponding Secretary - Erika Martinez Alonso

 
 
Erika here, and this is my boy squad. Aidyn is a feisty 4-year old, excited to start VPK in the fall, and Joshua is his equally spunky 2-year old brother. My husband James and I run a social + digital media agency, servicing a variety of local and out-of-state small business clients. I also serve as Head of Communications for a destination venue in the Redlands. I love all things school-related. I consider myself an Education advocate and truly look forward to being a part of the Calusa PTA and its community. I hope to bring value to this wonderful team of parents and teachers.
